After four days of packed competition and a handful of terrific performances, this year's edition of the Texas Relays is officially over.  In case you missed the LIVE broadcast, or want to catch up on some of the big performances you may have missed, here were a few of the many highlights ...

Most Outstanding College Team : Texas A&M (Combined)
- Won the most relays by one school in the history of the Texas Relays (six)
- Men claimed four relays titles (4x100, 4x400, 4x800, Sprint medley)
- Women claimed two (4x100, 4x400)
- Had 10 event wins overall on the weekend

Their versatility and depth with the long sprints and middle-distances allowed them to put together several winning combinations.  Men's 4x400 team continued to lower their season best, this time nearly eclipsing the 3-minute mark (3:00.45).

The women's 4x400 once again utilized the strengths of Jessica Beard on the anchor leg.  Beard (unofficially) split 2 sub-50's on 400 legs this weekend.  Two separate sub-50's!  As with indoors, she remains the favorite in the 400 open this Spring.

Most Outstanding High School Team: Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated (High School Girls)
- Swept the 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 in Division II.  The last sweep of those relays came in 2008 by Woosman (Division I) and Lancaster (Division II). This is also the first time Lamar Consolidated has won a girls relay at the Texas Relays.

Most Outstanding Male Athlete: Gerald Phiri, Texas A&M
- Won the 100m in meet record time of 10.03 (1.3 wind) (Interview)
- Ran the second leg of the 4x100m that ran the second-fastest time ever at Texas Relays

Most Outstanding Female Athlete: Kaitlin Flattmann, Benton HS (La.)

- Swept the high school girls 3,200m and 1,600m races

- Olympian Leonel Manzano winning the 800 in a thrilling finish.  The overall time (1:47 high) wasn't indicative of the performance, as the wind slowed down the entire field.  David Torrence, Manzano and Jackson Kivuva all battled fiercely down the homestretch.

- Crazy Mile Race, won by Fred Samoei, with huge kick.  Slow race with about 12 bunched up runners throughout didn't unfold until final 100 meters.  As with the 800, the wind may have deterred anyone from wanting the pacing duties early on.

- LSU men's meet record 4x200.  The Tigers claim the only sprint-based relay that A&M didn't win, turning in a brilliant performance and meet record.
