Wesley Korir to Return to Louisville Following 2012 Boston Marathon

Wesley Korir will be available at a news conference on Monday, May 7, at 1 p.m. ET.

 

Wesley Korir, the 2012 Boston Marathon champion, will return to Louisville this week for the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 5. Korir, a Louisville letterwinner from 2004-07, will make his appearance on the Red Carpet prior to the race to speak briefly about winning the 116th edition of the event and about his charity, the Kenyan Kids Foundation (www.KenyanKidsFoundation.org).

 

On Monday, May 7, the former track All-American, Korir, will be available at a news conference at 1 p.m. in the Yum! Center media room (2342 S. Floyd Street on campus).
