Bolt, Blake, and Weir to Make 2013 Debuts at Camperdown

Just one day after Usain Bolt was announced as part of the NBA's Celebrity All-Star Game class, Racers Track Club is reporting that the world record holder will make his 2013 debut tomorrow at the Camperdown Classic's 400-meter dash.

Also listed for the 400-meter dash will be fellow countrymen Yohan Blake and Warren Weir, but the chances of all the three Jamaicans facing off in the same race are slim.

Don't get your hopes up too high or use this meet as a signal of things to come with Boltand the 400. Most of the Jamaican sprinters like to use this low-key meet as a foundation for their track season and the 400-meter dash is a popular choice.

Blake competed at the Camperdown Classic in the last two years. He finished the 400 witha personal best of 46.49 in 2012. Meanwhile, Bolt scratched from racing the day before the competition and speculation arose of a minor injury. Nothing would end up bothering him en route to two gold medals in London.

The races will be streamed live on the Camperdown Classic's official website for the first time in the meet's nine year history. Events start at 8:15 local time with the women's 400-meter hurdles.
