The University of Oregon is hosting the NCAA Championships at Historic Hayward Field June 5-8. Tickets will be available on line at goducks.com/tracktickets, on the phone at 1-800-WEBFOOT or in person at the ticket office located in the Moshofsky Center.

The four-day, all-session ticket prices are $90 for reserved seating, $70 for adult general admission and $40 for youth, student and senior general admission. Additional fees may apply.

"There was so much excitement when we last hosted in 2010," said Oregon Associate Athletic Director Vin Lananna. "Whether it was the exciting women's 4x400 anchor leg dual between Oregon's Keshia Baker and Texas A&M's Jessica Beard or the thrilling triple jump win by Florida's Christian Taylor, the Hayward Field fans appreciate great efforts and performances."

The NCAA Championships consist of a streamlined competition schedule each evening with the four days featuring only semifinals or finals.

The women's meet could produce one of the best competitions in recent history with returning champions in every event on the track between 100 and 10,000 meters, with the exception of the 800. Additionally, winners are back in the steeplechase, high jump and shot put, not to mention a wide-open team competition between Texas A&M, Louisiana State, Kansas, Stanford and Oregon, among others.

Individually, English Gardner of Oregon will look to defend her 100 meter title, while Bowerman Trophy winner Kimberlyn Duncan of LSU looks to extend her remarkable run in the 200, as does 2012 Olympic silver medalist Brigetta Barrett of Arizona in the high jump. Individual champions are also due back in the women's 400 (Ashley Spencer, Illinois), 1,500 (Katie Flood, Washington), 5,000 (Abbey D'Agostino, Dartmouth), 10,000 (Natosha Rogers, Texas A&M), Steeplechase (Shalaya Kipp, Colorado) and shot put (Tia Brooks, Oklahoma). The steeple will also feature 2011 NCAA winner and 2012 Olympian Emma Coburn of Colorado.

Highlighting the men's competition will be the defending champions from Florida against a top field of challengers including Texas A&M, Louisiana State, Florida State and host Oregon.

The men's high jump could be the final collegiate dual between Erik Kynard of Kansas State, the 2012 Olympic silver medalist, and Indiana's Derek Drouin, who took home the bronze in London.

Other individual champions returning for the men include Andrew Bayer of Indiana (1,500), Jack Whitt of Oral Roberts (pole vault), Omar Craddock of Florida (triple jump), Jordan Clarke of Arizona State (shot put), Chad Wright of Nebraska (discus) and Tim Glover of Illinois State (javelin).

"The Oregon student-athletes are excited for the opportunity to compete for a championship in front of an enthusiastic Hayward Field crowd," said Head Coach Robert Johnson. "We look forward to once again making the NCAA Championships the very best experience for both fans and competitors alike."

This will be the Championships' first appearance in Eugene since 2010, and will be the 11th time overall that Hayward Field has hosted the NCAA meet. Chicago, with 13 times hosting in the first half of the last century, and Eugene are the only cities to have hosted at least 10 NCAA Track & Field Championships.

Those wishing to purchase new season tickets for the 2013 season may also do so on Friday. A 2013 season ticket includes all regular season meets, but not the NCAA Championships. Ticket prices are $65 for reserved, $55 for adult general admission and $45 for child/senior general admission. The family plan, general admission for two adults and three kids, is available for $125. Additional fees may apply.

Single meet sales for the Ducks' regular season meets and the Prefontaine Classic begin Feb. 22.
