Brianna Rollins sets 100m hurdle Collegiate Record

Clemson junior Brianna Rollins dominated her section of the 100-meter hurdles and set a new collegiate record in 12.47 seconds on Thursday afternoon. The previous record was held by Ginnie Crawford of USC, when she ran 12.48 in 2006. Rollins' mark is also a new world leading time. It is .12 seconds faster than Dawn Harper-Nelson's 12.60 from the Doha Diamond League meet.

According to Flotrack site head Ryan Fenton, Rollins' time would have medaled at every Olympic Games since 1972. She would have won all, but three of those finals within that time span.

Rollins entered the meet with a personal best of 12.68 from the Georgia Tech Invitational. The finals are scheduled for 3:09 p.m. local time on Saturday.
