Ryan Bailey Out for U.S. Outdoor Championship
2012 Olympian Ryan Bailey will not make the United States team heading to Moscow for the IAAF World Championships after scratching at the U.S. Championship with a hamstring strain.

Bailey aggravated the injury in practice after feeling slight pain at the end of the Prefontaine Classic's 100-meter dash, according to Ken Goe of the Oregonian.

His best wind-legal time on the season comes from the Adidas Grand Prix, where he ran 10.15. He ran 10.00 in Eugene with a 2.6 wind reading.

The Olympic silver-medalist from the men's 4x100 is in Portland to check up with doctors and trainers.

This opens up a chance for a sprinter like Mike Rodgers to make the team after finishing fourth at the Olympic Trials last year. Rodgers' best time on the year comes from his 9.96 in Beijing, which is the fourth best time in 2013.
