Lukas Verzbicas: Why Did He Really Leave?
On April 29th, we premiered a Flotrack original production of Driven unlike any other. Driven: The Return of Lukas Verzbicas gave viewers an inside and unflinching look at the triathlete and former high school track phenom less than a year after a devastating bicycle accident almost took his life. Lukas' comeback has created quite a stir and is gaining considerable backing as those in the track and triathalon community alike root for the competitive return of the former Junior World Triathalon Champion and high school two-mile record holder.
There's still a piece to Lukas' story that remains a mystery. People want the following questions answered: Why did Lukas leave the University of Oregon? And does he regret it?
