On the other end, he’s the biggest entrepreneur in track and field. “Let's not change culture to want track and field,” Symmonds says in episode two. “Let's change track and field to match the culture.”
Innovation in both his training and business plan has yielded incredible results, but that’s not enough for this Renaissance Man. He’s the third fastest American 800m runner of all-time, but wants the American record of 1:42.60. He wants to grow his business, but needs to be able to get past sponsorship red tape. He wants to make track and field interesting, but needs some support.
