RunFanShop releases limited edition Nick Symmonds Items

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RunFanShop owner Ben Rosario said he expects the items to go very quickly.
“It’s no secret that these are the types of things we envisioned selling when we launched RunFanShop,” Rosario said. “Fans are clamoring for merchandise featuring their favorite athletes and Nick is certainly one of those athletes.”
When RunFanShop.com went live in July the Nick Symmonds Training Log was one of its first offerings. The logs sold out in one week. Rosario said he ordered everything Symmonds had left at that point.
“It worked out really well because Nick was headed to Europe anyway so it was going to be difficult for him to sell them from his own site,” Rosario said. “We sold out of that second run as well but when Nick got back from Europe he found 30 more logs so we decided it might be fun to have him sign them and sell them as a limited edition item since these really were the last ones available.”
The log is unique in that it gives fans an almost unprecedented look inside the day-to-day training and mindset of a world-class runner. Many athletes are secretive about their training, but Symmonds holds nothing back in the log. Readers can feel his frustration after a bad race, his elation after a big workout and even his disappointment in himself after a night of partying. His much-talked-about date with Paris Hilton even finds its way into the log.
The hat is nearly as unique in that it marks one of the very rare times a major shoe company has produced an item specifically featuring a U.S. track athlete. The hat has the Nick Symmonds logo on the side and these final 20 have Symmonds’ signature on the bill.
The log, the hat and the combo pack are available now on RunFanShop.com.
