Lolo Jones bobsleds for a U.S. World Cup spot tonight (Watch Live @ 7 p.m. MST)
Two-time Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones arrived in Lake Placid, New York in October 2012 with lots of question marks surrounding her venture into bobsled. On Friday night, she will compete with pilot Jazmine Fenlator in the second U.S. national team selection bobsled race as her quest for a Winter Olympic roster spot continues.

Fenlator and Jones finished third in the first selection race on October 12 with a time of 1:58.60. The winning time by Elana Myers and Aja Evans was 1:57.21. With Jones' track speed used to start, the team recorded push times of 5.60 and 5.58. Fenlator commanded the bobsled with her times of 59.21 and 59.39.

The U.S. National Team will be named on Oct. 26. This does not guarantee a spot on the Olympic team. The selected athletes will compete on the World Cup circuit. Points earned will help determine the selection for Sochi.

The live broadcast below will begin at 7:00 p.m. MST. Jones and Fenlator are second on the start order for the first run.

Jones was named to the U.S. national team for the World Cup as she split 5.20 on both pushes in last night's team selection competition. Her team with pilot Jazmine Fenlator combined for a total time of 1:39.92 for third place.

Jones was a favorite to make the U.S. National team and now needs to continue performing in the top three as she hopes to be selected as one of the pushers for the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

As for Jones' chances of making her first Winter Olympic team, Nick Zaccardi of NBC Sports puts her third behind Aja Evans and Katie Eberling. She is not alone vying for that third spot as Emily Azevedo is also a contender for the final spot.

Zaccardi says push athlete and driver pairings will be a key as the World Cup circuit begins in Calgary on Nov. 30.

Lauryn Williams was also among the six push athletes named to the national team.
