Boys HS Team Rankings - Week 11
CBA makes NJ history and American Fork does it again
The Saucony Elite 50 refers to the top-50 teams in the country (25 boys and 25 girls).
US#1 Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) made history in New Jersey with an amazing 15:52 average on the Holmdel, NJ layout to become the first team ever with a sub-16:00 average. They look poised to win the Nike Northeast Regional and contend for the national title. US#17 Don Bosco Prep (NJ) is back in a big way by finishing 2nd and putting themselves right in the picture for the Northeast regional race.
US#2 American Fork (UT) continues to impress each year as they come back from a state meet over a month out to win the Southwest Regional. US#12 Davis (UT) had a huge race to finish 2nd and qualify for Nike Nationals out of the Southwest as well.
US#21 Southlake Carroll (TX) won the South Regional and qualified for Nike Nationals and they are joined by Hebron (TX), who finished 2nd.
US#10 Warren (CA) came up big in the Southern Section to upset US#4 Arcadia (CA) in the Division 1 race. They'll get another shot at each other as they battle for the state title and a Nike Nationals berth this weekend.
