Mo Farah returns to track after London
Double Olympic and World Champion Mo Farah will make his return to the track after the 2014 London Marathon by racing at the Sainsbury's Glasgow Grand Prix in July, according to Simon Hart of the Daily Telegraph (UK).
"Glasgow will be one of my first track appearances in front of a home crowd in 2014, and having produced my best in front of the British public in London," Farah said in a press release. "I’m really looking forward to getting back out there and taking in the home support. Nothing in the world can compare to a British crowd and I will be doing everything I can to get the Hampden crowd going.”
Racing at the Commonwealth Games has yet to be talked about Farah since Nike Oregon Project coach Alberto Salazar told Sebastian Coe that Farah could get a career-ending injury if he runs the London Marathon and rushes to compete in Glasgow.
