New Beginnings for Symmonds and Manzano
New Beginnings for Symmonds and Manzano
Nick Symmonds and Leo Manzano are at a crossroads in their careers. Manzano is unsponsored coach-less and coming off a disappointing 2013 and indoor season. Symmonds won a silver medal last year, but then decided to change shoe companies that forced him to move from Eugene and find a new coach. Both Manzano’s and Symmonds’ choice to change up what was working attracted a lot of criticism and doubt and this 2014 track season will either prove Symmonds and Manzano made the right choice or give more ammo for the doubters.
Symmonds and Manzano have teamed up to train in Mexico as they prepare for the 2014 Outdoor season. In this episode of INSIDE: Mexico; Nick and Leo show us a side of Mexico no runner has ever seen as they travel up to the secret altitude camp at 9,000ft.
