After some doubts in his fitness, Mo Farah has announced that he will compete at the Commonwealth Games.
The 31-year-old tweeted the following earlier today:
The 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter Olympic and World Champion admitted on Monday, July 14th that the illness that forced him to withdraw from the Glasgow Diamond League set back his training, but Farah has appeared to have recovered before the start of the Games.
The Men’s 5,000-meter final is scheduled for Sunday, July 27th and the Men’s 10,000-meter final is slated for Friday, August 1st.
