Austin Tamagno's Mt. SAC Course Record
In October, we saw one of the most dominating performances of the high school season with Austin Tamagno’s course record-setting run at the Mt. SAC Invitational. The Brea Olinda junior flew through the course in a final time of 14:23 to take down Diego Mercado and Ammar Moussa’s shared course record of 14:24. Tamagno would later continue on to place fifth at the Foot Locker National Championships, but we’ll never forget the day he tore up the course in Walnut, Calif.
