Jenny SimpsonJenny Simpson had an outstanding 2014 that just kept getting sweeter. Her lowest finish in a Diamond League race was fourth (Prefontaine Classic), but her final Stockholm and Zurich victories locked in her reign as the DL Champion. Also the U.S. Outdoor Champ, Simpson’s season/personal best time of 3:57.22 was third in the world this season, and so close to Mary Slaney’s AR of 3:57.12. She's not only the best American 1500m/miler, but has now solidified her legitimacy throughout the world.
