Kendell Williams, Georgia (PB 4,635 pts)

Williams exploded on the scene in her freshman season by sweeping both indoor and outdoor NCAA Championships with record-setting efforts. At the 2014 Indoor Championships, she captured the title with five personal bests, including a meet record and tying a collegiate pentathlon record in the high jump with a mark of 6-2. Her title-winning performance set a school, Albuquerque Convention Center, collegiate, meet and World Junior records. After earning her second NCAA title in the Outdoor heptathlon, Williams set a meet record in the 100m hurdles (12.89) to win the World Junior Championships in Eugene. The U.S. World Junior record-holder in the heptathlon returns for her sophomore season as the undisputed favorite to defend her title.
Brittany Harrell, Florida (PB 4,287 pts)

The Gator made history at last year’s NCAA Indoor Championships with a new school record in the pentathlon to contribute to Florida’s third-place team finish. On her way to the championships, she had already broken the previous school record at the SEC Indoor meet with 4,137 points and a huge 800m personal best of 2:16. Harrell continued in the 2014 outdoor season with a fifth-place finish at the SEC Outdoor Championships and a third-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. In her senior season, Harrell will definitely be one to look for.
Paige Knodle, Northern Iowa (PB 3,881 pts)

Although she did not qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships last year, Knodle had an impressive showing at the NCAA Outdoor meet with a fourth-place finish (5,681 points). After starting the second day of competition in 14th place, Knodle worked her way up to earn her first All American honor with a new personal best in the heptathlon (5,681 points). She also crushed the school record in the 100m hurdles on day one, clocking a time of 13.54. Prior to the NCAA Outdoor meet, Knodle captured an MVC heptathlon title. With solid outdoor performances under her belt, Knodle will be a tough contender in the indoor season.

Quintunya Chapman, Georgia (PB 4,107 pts)

Chapman will join teammate Williams to contend for a top All American spot at the NCAA Championships. She returns to the track in her senior season as a first team outdoor All American and a second team indoor All American after her impressive career-best efforts at both meets. At the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships, Chapman shot to fifth in the school record books by scoring 4,107 points for 12th with four career-best efforts. But the NCAA Outdoor Championships is where Chapman truly shined after racking up wins in both the 200m and the shot put for a sixth-place finish. It was her first season competing in the outdoor heptathlon.
Deanna Latham, Wisconsin (PB 4,253 pts)

Latham had a banner year in 2014 with an Big Ten indoor title and a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships, her highest finish ever at the meet. She came within inches and hundredths of a second to beating her personal bests in each of the five events, which catapulted her to her first ever All American honor. She redshirted the outdoor season, but competed in the Pan American Combined Events Cup and placed sixth in the heptathlon with a score of 5,680 points and a personal best in the long jump (19-7 1/2).
Jena Hemann, Texas A&M (PB 4,193 pts)
Last Year: 8th Indoors, 14th Outdoors
The returning senior will finish off her career after capturing All American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships last year. Her 2014 indoor championship season included an Aggie school record with 4,079 points at the SEC Indoor Championships and continued with another school record of 4,193 points at the NCAA Indoor Championships. It was her first appearance at the meet and helped contribute to the Aggies’ fifth-place team finish.

Xenia Rahn, North Carolina (PB 4,191 pts)

Although she did not compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships, Rahn managed to earn All American honors at the outdoor championships with an eighth-place finish in her first ever appearance at the meet. Her performance of 5,558 points was just 20 points shy of the school record set by her coach Nicole Hudson. With her previous experience at the meet from her first two years at the University of Memphis, Rahn will be a threat come indoor season.
