James White, Nebraska (PB 2.28m)
Last Year: N/A Indoors, N/A Outdoors
Although White redshirted during the 2014 indoor and outdoor track season, he currently holds the best returning mark by far. In 2013, White captured second-team All American honors with a jump of 2.15m. He continued with a huge personal best of 2.28m at the Holiday Inn Invitational to rank fifth all-time at Nebraska.
Jacorian Duffield, Texas Tech (PB 2.27m)
Last Year: 5th Indoors, 10th Outdoors
Duffield returns for his senior season as a two-time All American with a promising final season ahead. Duffield secured his second first team All American honor at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships with a fifth-place finish and set personal bests in the outdoor (2.27m) and indoor high jump (2.23m) in 2014.
Wally Ellenson, Marquette (PB 2.25m)
Last Year: N/A Indoors, 2nd Outdoors
The basketball player and high jump athlete transferred from Minnesota to Marquette last year after finishing runner-up at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. He also earned a gold medal in 2013 while competing at the Pan American Junior Athletics Championships.

Kyle Landon, Southern Illinois (PB 2.20m)
Last Year: N/A Indoors, 3rd Outdoors
Although his personal best is not as high as other contenders, the freshman shocked everyone with a third-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with his personal best performance. If he continues on the upward trend, the potential will be endless for the young jumper.
Justin Fondren, Alabama (PB 2.21m)
Last Year: N/A Indoors, 5th Outdoors
As a sophomore in 2014, Fondren secured his first All American honor with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 2.20m. His personal bests in the indoor and outdoor high jump were broken in 2014 with 2.21m and 2.18m marks, respectively. He also won the bronze medal at the 2011 World Youth Championships.
Alexander Bowen, Jr., Albany (PB 2.22m)
Last Year: 7th Indoors, N/A Outdoors
Although he did not qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2014, Bowen continued on in the summer to win the Central American Championships for his native country of Panama. In the 2014 indoor season, Bowen earned his first All American honor with a seventh-place finish at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships.

Andre Dorsey, Kennesaw State (PB 2.23m)
Last Year: NH Indoors, N/A Outdoors
The multi-event athlete did not qualify for the high jump in the 2014 outdoor season, but competed in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships. If he decides to focus on the high jump in 2015, Dorsey’s personal best shows that he could be a serious threat.
