Track After Dark Ep 7: 36 Sub-4's, Cristian Soratos

James and Lincoln speak with the unlikely NCAA leader in the mile, Cristian Soratos of Montana State, who ran 3:55 this past weekend at the Husky Classic. Soratos has never qualified for the NCAA indoor Championships, but now he will head to Fayetteville in March as one of the contenders to win a title. The senior talks about his meteoric rise in the last few weeks, and how his performance was very emotional considering that his aunt had passed just a few days prior.

Also in this episode, the guys discuss the upcoming AIT Indoor Grand Prix in Ireland and the Birmingham Grand Prix in England. Gordon calls in from the snowpocalypse epicenter of Boston, where 12 of those 36 sub-4 miles went down. Gordon gives his predictions for the loaded DMR field at the upcoming Alex Wilson Invite at Notre Dame, where teams will look to lock down a qualifying time in anticipation of the Big Dance.
