UCS Named Official Equipment of USATF
USATF has announced that UCS will be their official equipment supplier through the year 2020. UCS is an international leading brand in the world of track and field. From hurdles to landing pads to toe-boards, UCS has provided equipment for four Olympic games, 13 years of USATF championships, NCAA Championships, and various other track and field events around the world.
With this partnership comes great gains for UCS and USATF. UCS will provide the best equipment for all USATF championships, including youth and masters events. Their first event will be the USATF Indoor Championships this weekend in Boston, Mass. All equipment at the indoor championships will include USATF branded landing pads for high jump and pole vault. With the visibility of their brand getting national exposure on television, UCS and USATF both win.
“UCS’s commitment to the sport from youth through masters enables USATF to expand our assistance to a broader group of championships, constituent groups and local organizers,” said USATF CEO Max Siegel in an official press release. “We are proud to have them in the USATF family as we continue to remake the scope of our partnerships and the level of support we provide to everyone in the sport.”
UCS has been a family-owned operation since 1967. Their UCS/Spirit vaulting poles have been used to set over 75 World Records, including the two current men's and women's records.
