In Memory: Daundre Barnaby Scholarship Fund
On March 27, the running community lost one of its own as Canadian Olympian Daundre Barnaby passed away in a swimming accident while at training camp in St. Kitts. Since the tragic events, athletes, coaches, and organizations from around the world have come together to mourn the loss of one of the world’s best 400m runners.
Most recently, Barnaby’s family and friends have put together a scholarship fund in memory of the Canadian Olympian. “Raise for Daundre Barnaby” on Life.IndieGoGo.com allows the running community to donate to a trust fund for funeral expenses and also to a scholarship fund in Barnaby’s name.
