Former 200m World champion and current NBC track and field commentator Ato Boldon joins the podcast to discuss his reaction to Justin Gatlin's World-leading 9.74 in Doha.

Gatlin's performance has come under a firestorm of criticism because he was twice convicted of doping , and now is running faster than than he ever has at the age of 33, generally considered past the prime of a sprinter's career. Boldon believes that Gatlin is running so fast because he has improved his technique, which has allowed him to continue to progress so late in his career.

The guys get Boldon's take on a multitude of track and field topics, including the NCAA system and its tendency to burn out talented sprinters due to over-racing.

Finally, Boldon makes his pick for the 100m final coming up  later this summer in Beijing.
