BEIJING - In the first round of the women’s 200m,  Oregon’s NCAA Champion Jenna Prandini wore Puma spikes on the starting line at the National Stadium. 

 

The USATF Outdoor Champion just completed her fourth year at the University of Oregon and has yet to announce a professional shoe contract, but wore Puma spikes on her way to a runner-up finish in heat two of the 200m. 

 

Prandini finished the heat in 22.95, automatically qualifying her to the semifinal round on Thursday. 

 

While in the mixed zone, Prandini would not officially announce her decision to go pro, but was pleased with her first World Championship performance.
