Veronica Campbell-Brown Switches Lane During Race
Veronica Campbell-Brown, a seven-time Olympic medalist who has run her fair share of 200m races, won her heat of the 200m opening round today in Beijing and will advance to the Semi-Finals.
What's the big deal? Campbell-Brown ran the last 100m in somebody else's lane. According to IAAF Officials, because Campbell-Brown didn't cause any harm to Adeoye and actually ended up running farther than 200m, she won't be disqualified.
