The Loudon, Virginia native is currently ranked No. 1 in the Saucony Flo50 rankings in cross country and boasts a slew of impressive personal bests on the track, including a 4:02 mile and an 8:42 two mile. He also finished fourth at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships last year.
Hunter’s 8:42 PR was famously run when he beat former top prep and now Stanford freshman Grant Fisher at the Brooks PR Invitational in June.
He most recently broke the Virginia state record at the Third Battle Invitational where he ran 14:20 over a cross country course 5K.
Hunter will attempt to win his third-straight Virginia State Championship tomorrow.
