Should Geoffrey Mutai Be New WR Holder?

In the aftermath of Mutai's unbelievable 2:03:02 in the 2011 Boston Marathon, the IAAF rule that prohibits Boston from being eligible for world records is under question.  Boston has never been considered by any to be an unfairly fast course, but the fact that there is an overall elevation loss ... and the race is run on a point to point course, disqualify it from record status.

Mutai is not worried about it, stating that "You don't look at World Records ... you just go."

But we are looking, Geoffrey.  We want to know what you all out there are thinking ... Is this an amazing performance worthy of being the new World Record?  Or is it just a tremendous wind and downhill-aided time ... nothing more?

Vote and let us know your thoughts.
