RESULTS

TEMPE - Despite the rain showers and unseasonably cool temperatures, the Arizona State University track and field program played host to its 32nd Sun Angel Track Classic on Saturday on Joe Selleh Track at Sun Angel Stadium in Tempe.

Several outstanding marks were recorded on the cold, windy day, including freshman Bryan McBride clearing 7-00.25 (2.15m) in the high jump and Jasmine Chaney running 56.61 to move into No. 4 on the ASU all-time Top 10 list in the women's 400m hurdles. her time betters her personal best for the second time this season.

The men's 1500 offered a tremendously deep field, and the race played out accordingly, as 23 men broke 3:50. There were no sizeable gaps between any of the top 31 runners, as runners consistently filed in after winner Justin Tyner ran 3:42 (Air Force). In the next 12 seconds, 30 more runner crossed the line.

The women's steeplechase saw a new meet record, as Stephanie Pezzulo (Su Elite) and Lisa Aguilera (Nike) battled throughout. Pezzulo took the win in 10:11.

The women's 800 was strong as well, as Lindsey Schnell of Brooks bested indoor NCAA Champion Lacey Bleazard of BYU 2:04.38 to 2:05.82.
