NBN Indoor 800m champion and future Nittany Lion Michael Slagowski of Rocky Mountain, Idaho broke 1:50 for the first time in a big way: 1:48.70 at the Pulse Invitational. He is the only prep under 1:50 this year. Slagowski looks to be the next big middle distance star to run for Penn State.
