FloTrack is committed to providing top-notch content to track and field’s die-hard fan base. 

We are looking for a summer intern to help us continue to provide the best coverage of running events all over the world. We want people who are as self-motivated and excited about growing the sport as we are. This work is incredibly fast-paced and we need people who can keep up! 


REQUIREMENTS:

- Belief that track and field is the best sport in the world

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism/communications or currently studying towards earning the degree

- Strong familiarity with high school, college, and professional track 

- Web/tech skills

- Video editing skills - Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere

- Excellent communication skills and time management

- Written skills

- Willingness and flexibility to work weekend hours


RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Writing meet previews, recaps, features

- Uploading video content to FloTrack

- Pitching story ideas to execute around the summer season and Olympics

- Filming workouts and video content in the Austin area

- Editing video content

- Creating results, start-lists, coverages pages on FloTrack

- Assisting with weekly series such as Run Junkie, Who’s #1, On The Run Podcast

- Contributing original weekly series to go on FloTrack


The summer intern will be based in the FloSports office in Austin, Texas and will receive a stipend while working from 6/13/16 - 8/15/16.
