Boys

14-Year-Old 800m
Who: Brandon Miller
When: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starting at 7:30 CT
Why: It's no surprise that Miller is the top seed since he holds the AAU 800m records for 9-, 10-, 11-, 12-, and 13-year-old boys! He's entered with a blazing seed time of 1:52.13--that's four seconds faster than anyone else entered in the 800m for any age. He also plans on participating in the 1500m with a seed time of 4:04.63. Watch out for this Missouri native to set records this weekend.

17-18-Year-Old 400m
Who: Isaiah Cole, Nicholas Walker, Jermaine Holt
When: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starting at 7:30 am CT
Why: This will likely be the most exciting race of the day. The top three seeds each have personal-bests of sub-48. Cole is the top seed with a time of 47.21, and he's also entered in the 200m. He will be the favorite, but will be challenged for top honors by Walker (PB: 47.70) and Holt (PB: 47.80), who should make it an exciting finish.

Girls
10-Year-Old 200m
Who: Aniyah Brown
When: Prelims: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starting at 7:30 am CT; Finals: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starting at 8:00 am CT
Why: Brown is one to watch at this meet. Her entered time for the 200m (26.80) is .44 seconds off of the national record for her age. She is also entered in the 100m at 13.00.

11-Year-Old 800m
Who: Maryanna Cummings
When: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starting at 7:30 am CT
Why: Only two girls in the whole meet have a faster seed time than 11-year old Cummings! The 2:20 half-miler will look to dominate her age group's 800m race. She is also running the 200m (27.00) and 400m (1:10).

17-18-Year-Old 100m Hurdles

Who: Symiah Fulton
When: Prelims: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starting at 7:30 am CT; Finals: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starting at 8:00 am CT
Why: Fulton may be the most versatile athlete at this meet--she is entered in three different events for her age group: 100m hurdles, long jump, and shot put. She has the fastest seed time out of anyone at the meet for the 100m hurdles, and is seeded third for her age group in the long jump and fifth in the shot put.

Boys

12-Year-Old 800m
Who: Kerry Robinson
When: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starting 7:30am CT
Why: OKC Sprinters athlete Kerry Robinson comes into the 800m without any competition. Not only is he incredibly quick, but he's also the only 12-year-old entered in the race. Although his fastest race clocks in at 2:21.87, he could break 2:20 in the AAU Junior Olympics with some other fast competitors. Don't be surprised if he runs a fast solo race this weekend. Robinson is also entered in the 400m with a sub one-minute time.

14-Year-Old 400m

Who: Brennon Presley
When: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starting 7:30am CT
Why: It could be a triple crown this weekend for Presley! The 14-year-old from Tulsa Express Track Club is entered in the 100m, 200m and 400m. Possibly one of the most impressive races to watch will be the 14-year-old boys 400m; Presley's seed time of 53.72 is more than five seconds faster than the next competitor in the field. This impressive mark would have earned him a top-eight finish in the finals during the 2015 races.

10-Year-Old 100m
Who: Curtis Miller, Marcus Ugbah
When: Prelims: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starts 7:30am CT; Finals: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starting 7:30am CT
Why: This race will be especially competitive. Miller, from Lawton Lighteing, and Ugbah, who is unattached, are only .01 seconds apart with seed times of 14.47 and 14.48, respectively, which will make for an exciting photo finish! With these fast times, the two could also gain a spot in the AAU Junior Olympics. Miller is also competing in the 200m and 400m, while Ugbah is competing in the 200m and the long jump.

Girls

13-Year Old 100m
Who: Taniya Looney, Nyel Kennedy, Christin Cohen
When: Prelims: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starts 7:30am CT; Finals: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starts 7:30am CT
Why: These 13-year-olds all come in with seed times of sub-14 seconds in this event. Looney is impressively ranked No. 1 in three other events including the 200m, the shot put, and the long jump. Kennedy and Cohen are also competing in multiple events: the 200m, 400m, long jump; and the 200m and long jump, respectively. Being matched up for many events may make for a lot of interesting races.

14-Year-Old 1500m
Who: Kaelyn Dobbins
When: Sunday, June 26, rolling schedule starts 7:30am CT
Why: Dobbins, representing the Oklahoma Blazers, comes with the impressive time of 5:11.72, which will help her continue on to AAU Junior Nationals and even AAU Junior Olympics. She comes into this weekend ranked first in not only the 1500m by sixteen seconds, but also the 3K and the 800m with a time just inching in front of Katelyn Wiggs from Plainview Track Club.

Boys

17-18-Year-Old 400m Hurdles
Who: Jamil Adams, Miles Green
When: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starts at 12:30 pm ET.
Why: This race should have a very close finish. Only .03 seconds separates Jamil Adams' (56.44) and Miles Green's (55.47) seed times. Adams has only run 52.63 for the open 400m this year, while Green has run 48.10. It will be an exciting battle of technique vs. speed.

17-18-Year-Old 100m
Who: Terrance Laird, Martin Booker
When: Prelims: Friday, June 24, rolling schedule starts at 8:45 am ET; Finals: Saturday, June 25, rolling schedule starts at 12:30 pm ET.
Why: Laird is the clear favorite for the 200m with a 21.44 seed in this region, and he has the track record to prove it. He also has a personal best of 10.86 in the 100m and finished second at the PIAA T&F State Championships after winning his District meet. But Booker is right on his tail in the 100m. He finished third in the 100m and second in the 200m at the NJSIAA State Meet of Champions. Laird is seeded at 10.67 with Booker seeded at 10.72. A bad start could be the difference-maker in this event.

Girls
8 & Under 1500
Who: Damira Allen
When: Sunday, June 26, Rolling schedule starts 8:30am ET
Why: Although Allen is in the eight and under race, her times are nothing less than impressive. Allen, the defending 1500m champion of her age group, comes in with a time of 5:18.86, which is just over two seconds faster than the AAU Junior Olympic record! Allen of the Chester Cheetahs is also ranked No. 1 in the 800m with a time of 2:40.56, which is 17 seconds faster than the next competitor.

12-Year-Old 800

Who: Alina LaForest
When: Friday, June 24, Rolling schedule starts 8:45am ET
Why: LaForest ranks No. 1 coming into the weekend in the with a seed time of 2:21.31 for the 800m. Representing the Delco Stallions, LaForest is also competing in the 1500m and comes in with a sub-five-minute time. She is also on the 4x800m relay and has helped the team run under 10 minutes. LaForest will show some impressive times this weekend; be on the watch!
