New Mexico freshman Josh Kerr just dethroned Edward Cheserek in the NCAA mile, running 4:03.22 to win his first NCAA title.
New Mexico freshman Josh Kerr just dethroned Edward Cheserek in the NCAA mile, running 4:03.22 to win his first NCAA title.
Kerr split 27.41, 26.52, and 26.68 in his final 600m to break the 16-time NCAA winner of his 17th title. Cheserek wound up second in 4:05.42.
