Team USA Announced For 2017 World Championships

7/29 Update: Susan Randall was added to the USATF roster today and will compete in the inaugural women's 50K race walk along with Erin Taylor-Talcott and Katie Burnett. The Ohio native was invited based on her status as the Area Champion in the women's 50K race walk for the North American, Central American and Caribbean Area (NACAC). She was the top NACAC finisher at the 2017 Pan Am Race Walk Cup in third.

7/27 Update: The IAAF has extended World Championship invitations to an additional four athletes from the United States: men's hammer throwers Kibwé Johnson, Rudy Winkler and Alex Young, as well as Ariana Ince in the women's javelin throw, none of whom had achieved the world standard in their event. All four have accepted the invitation to compete in London.
