Just three weeks after the addition of Kate Grace, the Bowerman Track Club received another 2016 Olympian in long distance star Marielle Hall. The news was announced on the club's social media channels on Tuesday morning.

"We are thrilled to announce that another 2016 Olympian is joining the Bowerman Track Club," the post said. "Marielle Hall was NCAA Champion in the 5,000m at Texas and a 2015 World Championship team member at 5,000m before making the 10,000m team for Rio. It's an honor to have her come train with our group and a blessing to our long distance track squad."

After graduating from the University of Texas in 2014, Hall moved to Philadelphia to train with coach Derek Thompson, who also trains 800m stars Ajee Wilson and Charlene Lipsey. Under Thompson, Hall set personal bests of 15:06 in the 5K and 31:37 in the 10K. She also made two international championship teams for the United States.

nullWith the addition of Hall, the women's contingent of the Bowerman Track Club now consists of New York City Marathon champion Shalane Flanagan, world marathon bronze medalist Amy Cragg, world 10K bronze medalist Emily Infeld, world steeplechase silver medalist Courtney Frerichs, Olympians Shelby Houlihan, Colleen Quigley, and Kate Grace, and collegiate All-American Sammy Silva.

Just over a week ago, the club saw its most recent success with Flanagan, who became the first American woman in 40 years to win the New York City Marathon.

Hall will be coached by Jerry Schumacher. Last week, FloTrack caught up with Schumacher after Flanagan won her first Abbott World Marathon Major title.
