Usain Bolt To Fulfill Dream Of Playing At Old Trafford, Just Not For Man U
After hinting at a pro contract, Usain Bolt signed up to play in a charity soccer match in England on June 10.

Usain Bolt has a well-chronicled love affair with the soccer. He grew up playing the sport and passionately follows his favorite club, Manchester United. Earlier this year, news broke that he has a tryout scheduled with the German team Borussia Dortmund in March.
So when the world record holder and eight-time Olympic gold medalist tweeted on Sunday that he had signed with a soccer club, the sports world took note.
I've signed for a football team! Find out which one this Tuesday at 8am GMT ? pic.twitter.com/iFTlWxfy7x

Would it be Borussia Dortmund? Manchester United? Some obscure lower division team that desperately wanted some good PR?
It turned out to be none of those.
Yes, Bolt would get to play at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United. But it would be in the Soccer Aid celebrity match, where celebrities from England take on a team comprised of celebrities from the rest of the world.
Excited to announce that I will be playing in @socceraid for @UNICEF_uk 2018 at Old Trafford on Sunday 10th June. Make sure you're ready @robbiewilliams! ⚽️? pic.twitter.com/t2sDB1iLP8

The game, set for June 10, will benefit the children’s relief organization UNICEF. Bolt headlines the Rest of the World team, while British singer Robbie Williams was announced for the English squad.
When June rolls around, you can expect a full breakdown of Bolt’s soccer skills, just as we did when Andre De Grasse took to the basketball court.
