We're only a few weeks separated from the end of indoor track, but there have already been a few hints about what's to come in the NCAA outdoor season. Since it’s never too soon to look ahead, here are some way-too-early confidence picks involving teams and athletes expected to compete in the NCAA East Preliminary meet. 

Confidence Picks presented by Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans

  • Sydney McLaughlin will break 50 seconds in the 400m. 

  • Grant Holloway will take at least .2 off his personal best of 13.39 in the 110m hurdles.

  • After four trips to the finals, Isaiah Harris will finally win the NCAA title in the 800m.

  • The Georgia women will back up their performance from the indoor season and take home their first NCAA outdoor championship. 

  • Gabrielle Thomas will break the NCAA record in the 200m.
