Today, Obi Igbokwe announced on Twitter that he is joining the Houston Cougars for his senior season after spending the past three years with Arkansas. This move instantly puts the Cougars on the map to contend for the 4x400m relay title in 2019.
I appreciate the razorback fans for the amazing support the past 3 years. I went from a highschooler to an all american, but it’s time to be closer to my family so I decided to finish my collegiate career at #HTownSpeedCity. I look back on fond memories and forward to new ones.

Houston's Projected 2019 Squad's Personal Bests:
45.75 SO Keshun Reed (Hinds CC Transfer)
45.7h SR Mario Burke (Penn Relays Split)
44.94 SR Obi Igbokwe (Arkansas Transfer, 6th at NCAAs)
44.58 SR Kahmari Montgomery (2018 USATF Champion)
This won't be the first time Igbokwe and Montgomery team up on a 4x4. Both men ran on Team USA's 4x4 squad at the 2018 Athletics World Cup this summer.
