Coach's Insight: "The indoor season is always a big crapshoot. You train for outdoors. We built this team to try and be competitive outdoor and obviously, the 4x1 will be a great event for us that we won’t get indoors.

"We will go at it hard. We will try to get guys qualified and be in the mix, but the big thing about indoors is it’s a lower number to win. It’s not a 50-pointer, usually. If you score 38, 40 points, you got a shot, so it’s usually won by three or four elite individuals. I remember John McDonnell winning with two distance runners and a double jumper. You can do that indoors, and there’s fewer events as well. We are going to give it our best and try to be in the mix and I think that will prepare us for outdoors and tell us a little more about who we are as we prepare for the outdoor season."
