Matt Baxter Signs With HOKA NAZ Elite
NAU's Matthew Baxter has signed with HOKA NAZ Elite and will stay in Flagstaff as he begins his professional career.
HOKA NAZ Elite announced on Tuesday that it has signed New Zealand's Matthew Baxter. During his college career, Baxter helped Northern Arizona University to three consecutive NCAA cross country titles, placing 15th individually this year and runner-up in 2017.
On the track, he posted personal bests of 13:31.00 in the 5000m and 28:10.05 in the 10,000m. At last spring's NCAA Outdoor Championships, he took fifth in the 10,00m, his best finish in an NCAA track championship.

Joining the group will allow Baxter to stay in Flagstaff and train with a group of seven other men (the group also announced the signing of Sid Vaughn, Kiya Dandena and Nick Hilton on Tuesday).
