SR Harry Ewing (8:21 3K; 8:42 3K SC; 105th at ’18 NCAA XC)

SR Daniel Hintz (14:28 5K; 116th at ’18 NCAA XC)

JR Jerald Taylor (14:43 5K; 30:26 10K; 211st at ’18 NCAA XC)

Impact Freshmen/Transfers:

Tom Moulai via Kentucky (3:51 1500; 8:31 3K)

Asefa Wetzel via Star Valley, WY (4:16 1600; 9:12 3200; 14:46 5K)

Analysis:

The Wyoming Cowboys are coming off their best finish at NCAAs (12th) since 1977 when they placed third overall. And, in 2019 the Cowboys will look to ‘run it back’ as they return their top four scorers led by senior Paul Roberts. Roberts (20th last year) will be the key low stick for Wyoming to stay a top-20 program.

Filling out the roster will be the senior trio of Christopher Henry, Harry Ewing and Daniel Hintz. From that group, Ewing could be the wildcard after having a big personal best in the steeple (8:42) this past spring. Also, keep an eye on incoming redshirt freshmen Albert Steiner, Blake Hubert and Will Persin to fill out the back half of the roster.
