Analysis:
The Arkansas men finished 25th last season at the NCAA Championships and lose three of their top four scorers. However, this team is quietly on the cusp of improving dramatically in 2019. This year’s squad will be led by a trio of men who had ‘off day’ performances in Madison last year. Gilbert Boit, Matt Young, and Ryan Murphy all have the talent to be major difference makers this time around in 2019.
Gilbert Boit who finished 126th last year will likely be a top ten individual this season. Matt Young and Ryan Murphy who both finished in the 200s last year are strong enough based on their track personal bests to finish in the 40th-60th range this time around.
Lastly, the Razorbacks will look to seniors Preston Cates and Carter Persyn to round out the top five.
