Analysis:

Ole Miss returns six of their top seven from last year’s 17th place finish. Look for these Rebels to be a sleeper team in 2019. They will be led by Farah Abdulkarim who redshirted this past spring running impressive track pbs of 13:46 in the 5k and 28:39 in the 10k. Despite his 159th finish last year Abdulkarim will likely be an All-American this time around. Also, joining Abdulkarim up front will be returning All-American Waleed Suliman. Suliman has sub-4 miler speed with impressive range after his 36th overall finish at NCAA xc last year.

Filling out the roster will be some strong runners in Michael Coccia, Mario Garcia Romo, and Cade Bethmann. However, the wildcard for this team will be incoming freshman Cole Bullock. Bullock rounded into form this past spring posting an impressive 8:50 3200m run. If Bullock can make an impact on this team his first year the Rebels will be a team to watch in 2019.
