Texas’ 9:25.97 distance medley relay collegiate record from 2008 has finally fallen as the Oregon men ran 9:24.52 on Friday at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The Duck team of James West (1200), Jacob Miller (400), Charlie Hunter (800) and Cooper Teare (1600) lowered the record formerly held by a Longhorn team anchored by Leo Manzano 12 years ago. Teare’s 3:55.45 split was the fastest in the race by over eight seconds.

Here are each leg’s splits:

West: 2:53.53

Miller: 47.47

Hunter: 1:48.08

Teare: 3:55.45
