Morgan Wedekind of Kansas State stormed to her first Big 12 Championship title by running a nine-second PB of 10:15.62 in the 3K steeplechase. Amy Cashin of West Virginia and Courtney Coppinger of Kansas closed hard to make up the gap and also clock just under 10:20 for second and third place, respectively.
