Peres Jepchirchir adds another major victory to her resume, becoming the 2026 Sydney Marathon champion in 2:18:31.

The reigning world champion surged into the lead around the 30K mark and never looked back, winning by more than three minutes and finishing just nine seconds shy of Sifan Hassan’s course record.
