After Chris Solinsky's exiting record run at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational, we had the chance to catch up with his teammate Evan Jager. Jager, himself a top US distance talent, paid his own way to see Solinsky become the first non-African to break 27:00 in the 10k. Currently rebounding from injury, Jager saw the possibility of something special in Solinsky leading up to the May 1 race.
