Jim Ryun on The Jim Ryun Dream Mile

The adidas High School Dream Mile will provide an opportunity for men and women high school milers to make history. Inspired by Jim Ryun as the first miler to ever break 4 minutes in 1964, adidas's Jim Ryun HS Dream Mile will seek to make history by breaking barriers in the women's and men's high school mile. The race will be held on June 12th in New York at the adidas Grand Prix Meet (IAAF Diamond League). Qualifiers will be flown out to NYC and have the opportunity of a lifetime to compete in front of more that 12,000 fans and a national television audience.
