Get to Know Treniere Moser

Before Shannon Rowbury, Anna Willard, Christin Wurth-Thomas and Jenny Barringer the women's 1500 at the US Champs was dominated by Treniere Moser (formerly Treniere Clement). Moser won the US title at 1500 meters three consecutive years from 2005-2007 with a PB of 4:03 (2006), a time that only Rowbury exceeded in 2008. In fact, between the years of 2004-2007, no other American women had broken 4:05. Treniere also ran sub-2 for 800 meters in 2005 and 2007 with her PB of 1:59.15 coming in the latter year. She was also a Indoor World Champion finalist at 1500 in 2006. This year Moser made the move to Coach John Cook with the goal of regaining form from her earlier years as her sights are set on making US teams for the 2011 World Championships and 2012 London Olympics. This year she has already run 4:07 and 2:00, her fastest times since 2007. Treniere is a 2004 graduate of Georgetown.
