Jimmy Elam prepares for the 2010 Chicago Marathon

Jimmy Elam will make his marathon debut at the 2010 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.  After running 14:17 and 29:38 on the track in the spring, Jimmy has transitioned to the roads this summer and fall.  He ran 1:07:12 at America's Finest City Half Marathon in San Diego in August and soloed 49:57 on a flat, fast course at the Chico 10 Miler.

Jimmy is currently living in Mammoth Lakes, CA and is being coaches by Andrew Kastor.
