Sally Kipyego and her start in running

While at Texas Tech University, Sally Kipyego became one of the most decorated track and field athletes in NCAA history as she won 9 NCAA titles (along with 3 runner-up finishes). This tied her with Suzy Favor-Hamilton for the most titles in NCAA history. As she has made the jump to the professional ranks she has become one of the best in the world with her 14:38 5k a year ago, a time that currently ranks her #4 in Kenya and #8 All-Time for the country. We sat down with Sally to talk about how she started running in her native country of Kenya and what she saw as an opportunity for a new life.
