Interview with Dr. Chad Asplund at Endurance Augusta

Dr. Asplund is the Director of Military Sports Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and is a team physician at Paine College, as well as a faculty member for the sports medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Asplund has previously served as Head Team Physician for Men’s and Women’s Track and Cross Country at The Ohio State University and as a medical consultant for Reebok Midwest. A former collegiate and post collegiate runner, he enjoys marathon running and dabbles in Ironman triathlon. He has also written or co-written numerous journal articles, given several presentations and served as a volunteer physician for many endurance events such as the Army 10-miler, NIKEs Human Race and the Marine Corp Marathon, to name a few.
